It's surprising how many financially naive, but well intentioned, investors respond favorably to the offer of an SPP, even when it is 20% under water. Please do not take up the "brokerage-free" offer. Foremost, the company has more than enough funds to invest in new projects. IMHO the stock is very cheap and during the next rise in the gold price it will strongly follow suit, and broker valuations will follow. In the meantime, buy on-market and beat the institutions at their own game!
