At the moment there are three non-Chinese destinations AZS ore could go to in the near future that meets the American IRA code.
First is POSCO in South Korea. They have two lithium refineries, the second one only recently opened to cater for PLS feedstock, which is conveniently of similar chemical composition to AZS.
Second is the Tesla Giga lithium in Texas. It's almost complete and probably will be ready to receive LTR ore once KV is up and functional too.
Third is the to remain in Australia - either the Kemerton lithium hydroxide plant which is Alb/MIN, and maybe the Wesfarmers/SQM hydroxide plant which sounds good but practically in the other side of Australia in Mt Holland. Kwiana lithium refinery is 51% Tianqi so is excluded by IRA unfortunately.
