Looking forward to this one. Nuclear industry and turbine manufacturers using the tech was a biggie for me. Obviously both require high end and repeatable results. If K-TIG can produce a better weld and at a lower price it's hard to see this not getting solid traction.
The obvious limitation I see however is that it's I assume limited to certain weld types. Great for big pipework jointing, flats and tanks etc but I assume unable to be used to weld on spool pieces and anything that requires multiple angles or approach.
Eg I'm guessing it won't do this?

Still the addressable market is huge and anything that saves a manufacturer time and money while delivering better quality has a place in it.
