Ktig is automated for large scale long run Tig welds.
If the joint you mention was from say 3 m tube and there was hundreds to do , I would imagine there would be systems that could be set up to complete projects with that type of variation. Interesting question.
Economies of scale With Ktig see large and repeatable weld jointing projects become very cost effective. So possibly the simpler the better.
Let's hope there are some recent contracts they can announce to get the ball rolling , we can see more clearly the projects they typically work on.
