It's a positive announcement but not really new news.

The company under continuous disclosure rules would have had to have announced to the ASX if the deal had fallen over. It's nice to be reminded for those that care to do some research, that the company will have USD6m coming in to its kitty by 31 March 2018.

We should be wondering why now after as other posters have mentioned the DD period expired that the company has provided shareholders with an update. It could be similar to what poster dante alluded to in a previous post with improved coal prices and sentiment maybe the company had received inquiries from other interested parties. Or as i'm inclined to think, is this an announcement to "educate" shareholders, that will enable further accumulation to happen and buying on the "good news" at $0.003c before the shares jump on the prospect of another deal.
