What I *have* heard is that;
1) AVL shares are toilet paper
2) variations on ‘nya nya nya - they’re not getting my shares’
3) That the CNMNC MOU must still be there despite TMT no longer mentioning it since early this year.
4) That TMT can go it alone.
5) That the NO voters can easily swing the vote
6) That this company is worth 50% of AVL (with no rationales beyond that TMT has a better ore body)
7) That the company can easily get funding from elsewhere if the merger falls over (despite what the CFO here said at her last presentation).
8) And heaps more emotional-based outcry .
9) Oh and ‘because some of us are long term investors we know better than anyone else what the value is’
— despite that noone has been able to present a convincing case that they understand recent changes at AVL that have convinced RCF to buy shares there since early this year — despite that none have seen the independent technical review— and none have seen the independent experts opinion on the merger.
