Thank you for illustrating my point so clearly: the bits you highlighted do not mention "sophisticated and professional" investors and by the definition of your earlier URL "sophisticated and professional" investors are not necessarily "market participants".
The Dissident Twenty Two, do not appear to be in the categories of "bidders, targets or substantial holders" either. So they are correctly identified in yesterdays missive from TMT as not being "market participants" by your own definition.
I really do think you need to spend a bit more time on your English comprehension skills as you transition to secondary school.
