Maybe you should take your own advice tendies
but this terminated deal most definately does not suddenly make this company a rubbish company, in fact it hardly changes a thing in my opinion.
The deal collapsed because of a failure of pacific state metals, not S2R. We have not lost anything, we still have the ground that was going to be vested to pacific state metals. We can either explore it ourselves or find another partner to make a deal with.
The issue was with Pacific's inability to get their IPO over the line was not any issue with the ground itself, which is is still the same ground that was attractive enough for them to want to do a deal on in the first place.
We still have the other prospective ground that is S2's main attraction and its being drilled or surveyed as we speak for the most part.
I think it was unfortunate timing due to the loss of sentiment in the market and especially the miners/explorers. Mix that with all the general economic doom and gloom, tax loss selling etc etc and we find ourselves right in the eye of a storm. Pacific unsurprisingly had trouble raising the money and the same sentiment that hindered that is also weighing on S2R' share price along with the rest of this sector
I'll admit as many here have echoed that the company's strong point is not promoting itself to the market but as long as they have cash to drill for a while that is not my biggest concern.. It's clear they are working hard behind the scenes looking for deals and working the ground that they do have and sticking to the plan. I'm sure if they could speed up the process they would but some things just take time.
Ultimately the big moves that we all hope for in these kind of stocks come from bona fide discoveries so the fact that have some very juicy prospects and are now currently progressing them satisfactorily means I am not deterred by a slump in the share price and most definatly not by the termination of this deal.
one single announcement could completely turn sentiment on its head. This mob have done it before and my money is betting they will do it again, but as before, you've just got to be patient and ignore the noise.
