We're also located on the Gold Coast but rarely go to any events held in the actual Brisbane City Centre as such unless it is critical to wring more info out of a CEO by attending...one AGM we went to for less than an hour we were slugged $55 by Wilsons Parking.....apparently more expensive than Sydney....
Holders of large seminars etc haven't woken up to the fact they'd get way more attendees if they held them in the Community Halls, Conference Rooms etc located more in the suburbs than the City Centres but I suppose the swanky hotels possibly throw in a free room if the speakers stay there.....Read Corporate are smartly onto it as Royal Pines venue as away from Surfers with vast amounts of free parking so get hundreds attending.
Anyway...I'll wait until a presentation is held on the Gold Coast too...
