Slimes is effectively all the other matter within the deposit, ie. clay/mud. Ranobe would be like mining the beach.
You'd have a cost saving on processing and the type of tailings dam, how much? hard to know maybe somewhere between $20-$40m.
The biggest advantage is that your flow sheet is much simpler, far easier to wet and dry mill with no slimes.
