My limited understanding is that to win material contracts in China, the company will need excellent connections to government coupled with significant Chinese shareholdings. This will also aid in the protection of IP.
Again I say this from the point of view of what I've read, as have had no personal experience in this sphere. All the same I see this as a significant positive event if these are the right people to be connected to.
