Good morning to all, and thanks writer … I’d never heard the name and went through a gamut of ideas ranging from ‘is that Joel?’ to ‘emissary from mysterioud overseas major?’ and then only got as far as the Cayman Islands and its’ lots of different investments, before the Money of Mine show (it was playing along) said Fourth Sail had been on the register a while … so I stopped looking.

I’d like someone here to please explain again, and solidify for me my understanding the point on the ‘20% buyback’ .

ie; in regard to its existing fifth portion of the golden ‘cake’ that is Spartan, RMS is just going to eat it - that is cancel those shares - rather than putting that portion into a separate treasury to on-sell later for mega returns?
-Does that mean this merger deal is only about 80% of Spartan?
(The point on potentially getting a better deal from contractors was interesting too with Byrnecut (?) instated at RMS and Barminco at SPR …. And that made me wonder if Develop might come along and Envelop the lot and the comparisons with NST could become even greater.)
And I’ve got to say thanks to Danny and Joel for ‘jousting’ the debate here.
I love your work too Danny but FWIW at present I’m siding with Joel for his big picture vision on the synergies.
… and I don’t need to be a billionaire in four years, but I would enjoy booking another useful dividend before then, and still be seeing my ‘green’ grow along the way.
