I still feel like I am going through the emotions of all of this yet and the full ramifications are yet to sink in. I tend to agree with @DANNY2503 more so than others. I spoke to SL at the December resources conference in Melbourne and he along with the othere he had with him indicated that if RMS or anyone else wanted Spartan they would have to pay up. I was expecting a bid of around $2 given they seemed so confident of increasing the resource in the ground and perhaps finding other NN's and Peppers. I suppose a saving grace is the RMS share price has come off a lot recently so we should also participate with any upwards move in their share price. What I will say is that it has been a great ride and my investment portfolio looks a lot better now than it has in a long time.

I am leaning towards holding RMS and also putting the cash component into RMS given gold's expected rise and because RMS seem good mine operators and good at doing deals. However, I will say that I will be more nimble holding RMS as opposed to SPR ready to sell if there is the slightest hint of trouble ahead in the broader market. The issues at present are geopolitical which is good for Gold hence I will continue to hold RMS.

What a ride and good luck to everyone!
