Well that announcement went well! Not.
Clearly the ARO shareholders think they are getting a great deal with 80% of Georgina for script worth approx $3.45m at the announcement finishing the day up 33.3%. Not sure why GRV needs this deal?
Also if Alpha needs carbon offsets why not just buy $10m worth on the carbon trading markets instead of issuing 50m shares to Without (haha) Energy.
The Board needs to explain to serious investors why either of these proposed deals makes any sense. Clearly the market in GRV is totally underwhelmed by both announcements. There is also a governance question in general for me about Directors being on both sides of proposed transactions. Not saying anyone is doing anything wrong but it is never a good look.
