So many people have been waiting for Treasure Island results. Many said that it could be a fizzer.

We get the first set of results. Results are great. Potential for a multi million ounce deposit and similar to St Ives at 400k oz per year. If CRE takeover happens, we are looking at 280k oz pa + potential for 400k oz pa = 680k oz pa. Does that sound like a solid mid-tier producer or what?

Reaction so far? Yawn. Up 2.7% initially. Some comments that I've read seem bored with the results.

IMO this is fantastic news and confirms that we are on the right track. Previous speculation that the CRE takeover is for the mill to be moved to TI and the utilisation of the tax loses mean that everything is going to plan.
