It is so very perplexing, I think you may have hit on a possible answer. Mind you I don't see where they have disclosed this to the market, and if it is trus it is a pretty serious omission.

This seems like widespread Lithium country... even I could see that years ago, and it is being constantly located and reported in surrounding and nearby tenements.

We have missed a huge opportunity to be early in the market, and have already been overtaken by many of our neighbours.

Maybe we don't have any (which I doubt) maybe we have been instructed to look for something else. In any case, something seems wrong.
