Here's the link from the announcement. Well worth a read. The growers they quote here went halves with the CBD processors
in the product and sold their share for a total of $112 500 USD an acre with costs of $15 000 USD an acre. You can see why CBD
are looking to get an offtake agreement and get involved in the processing. If they manage the crop right and get the right levels
of CBD and THC the figures here could be very impressive. If they can pay a third party to process it rather then go halves the figures
could doubly impressive.Looks like the CBD industry is at various stages of legislative approval in different states of the US
and Oregon is an early mover and there should still be a sweet spot here this season before everyone else gets their sheet together and the market gets flooded in the coming years. That still looks a little way off due to various factors. CLI's previous experience with Hemp crops looks to have afforded them this opportunity at being in the right place at the right time. IMO. I'm curious to know their processing plans. This could be potentially much bigger bikkies. They've obviously been onto this aspect for a while.
