Ann: Trial Mining Commences at Kyereben , page-8

CUB, it looks to me as though mgmt is taking up a conservative approach in using trenching so as to not to blow cost out for the moment. As far as I can tell, because there is a ralatively large surface area that mgmt could cover around Kyereben (and other sites), shallow trenching appears to be a low cost and efficient method in mining out the area at this point in time.

A few quotes from the recent ANN:
    "The mineralisation is largely continuous
    at surface"

"The mineralisation has further strike potential to the northeast and southwest and has not been further tested at depth, where it remains open"

Also, because the plant is relatively new, mgmt might be feeding the plant at a lower rate via trenching to test the waters of the plant efficiency.

A quote from the recent ANN:
"The encouraging results led the Company to begin trial surface mining at Kyereben as part of the plant-scale trials associated with commissioning of the crusher and a shift in focus to oxide mineralisation"

Once the surface is cleared out, I would not rule out that mgmt would proceed with deep ground mining.
