There was no lepidolite. Lepidico explored the project for lepidolite in 2016 but their rock chips contained lithium with pretty good grades (see below). As Lepidico was actively looking for lepidolite, they abandoned the project... So this might turn out to be one of their biggest mistakes (in all fairness I am not a fan of LPD at all).
Rock Chips from 2016:
Triumph Mine: 7.63% Li2O
Lady Don Mine: 4.45% Li2O
Trident Mine: 3.88% Li2O
Sceptre Mine: 1.56% Li2O
