Range is pleased to announce that the QUN 161 development well in Trinidad that spudded on 9 September 2017 has reached total depth ahead of schedule on 18 September 2017.Electric log analysis has revealed that the primary Upper Cruse sand target was successfully penetrated. Additionally, secondary Lower Forest sand target was also encountered. Production testing is expected to commence shortly. The well was drilled by RRDSL, an established oilfield services provider which Range is in the process of acquiring. The well is being drilled using rig 18 (with a drilling capability of 1,500 metres).
