Nice announcement! Especially in current commodity prices. Upside looks very good in the next few years with a longer mine life and further production at higher copper prices no doubt. Big profits are at play now. This fits my investment strategy more now, with a 5-10 year hold. Considering we are already 10c lower than we should be, this is a guaranteed multi bag investment in the near term IMO. Inflation is raging with no end in sight - safety will be in the gold sector. Governments will have to increase infrastructure and defence spending to try to combat worsening economic and geopolitical conditions. This is ripe for a copper price explosion. AIS is a very safe place to be right now IMO and I expect the big players to start entering big positions and de-risking their portfolios.
