Why is it that an announcement like this is met simply with a comment from Pilcher saying simply "we are pleased......" If this is good news, why not explain why? If the timeline is in accordance with expectations, or indeed better than we dared hope, why not say so? If this is going to lead to truckloads of dosh in the coffers, where is the harm in highlighting that rather than just reprinting some table from somewhere? This company seems happy to sit back and watch the share price slide away without any attempt to put a positive face on the news, rather than just a bland recitation of a few basic facts. If I look back at the media announcements over the last few years, there has been a handful of anodyne podcasts and youtube videos. As a shareholder, I want management to be promoting the company which I own a piece of by using every tool at their disposal. They seriously need to look at engaging some PR expertise that can bring them out of the digital stone age and at least prevent the SP from sliding every time there is good news. If this is all about the market, then why not put the best possible effort into keeping the market informed, educated and happy?
