According to the Chairman (Tony Ho) - It looks like the company is pivoting their strategy more towards China and wants a CEO who has more experience in the Chinese market. Although the CEO has more experience in Europe & made a lot of progress last year, it looks like the market has closed off substantially due to COVID & she can't travel there. This makes China, the only working market.
CEO received 6 months of pay in lieu of termination ($140k). I guess Im just happy that the board isnt afraid of ripping the bandage off & find someone who has better experience.
