So in summary, Jupiter receives R 1,057,493,815 from Tshipi plus already received R 40 million. Previously said all would be returned to shareholders so makes total R1,097,493,815. AUD to Rand is 10.85 ( bit of fluctuation day to day) so gives us currently AUD 101 million. 1.93 billion shares on the register gives a divvy of marginally over 5c per share. I think it would be unfranked as withholding tax in South Africa already factored in.
Looking ahead, even base case scenario where Mn price comes back to historical averages yields an annual 5c per share divvy inclusive of their proposal to hand over 70% of earnings to shareholders and if Mn prices remain where they are or a bit lower then 6c+ is easily likely annualized. Not bad for a 35c share.
