Have enjoyed reading all your posts and thought it fair that I add my 2 cents worth.
I'm invested in an Australian iron ore company in India and it's for this reason - along with Tony, Marty's and everyone elses great research - that I joined TSN. The iron ore company I speak of is attracting interest from foreign companies, mainly the Chinese at the moment, and a whole new city is proposed to be built in close proximity to their mines. The reason I mention the Indian iron ore business is because, to me, it seems very comparable to what happened with China over a decade ago. China's manufacturing and infrastrucure boomed on government initiatives and it led to a massive increase in jobs and growth in the Chinese middle class sector. Farmers and people living in the country began migrating towards the cities, became employed and therefore the banking sector would have enjoyed massive growth. The almost overnight transformation of the Chinese working class was staggering and because of the continued news feed coming out of India regarding government initiatives to build new cities, rail, roads and other infrastructure, I believe India is on the cusp of becoming the new China. Not a new theory I know, but one worth reiterating here.
I'm of the belief that while many atm's and other banking products may be seeing little use at the moment, as more and more of India's poor become employed in the upcoming wave of government, and private sector, spending, it is only a matter of time before there will be people queing up in front of them, no matter where they are.
Like all start up businesses there is that element of risk but I believe TSI are putting themselves in a great position to take advantage of this upcoming boom. I have taken a smaller position in TSN than I have in the iron ore company and the only reason for this is because the iron ore company own's it's business outright, whereas TSN have less control of TSI. I look on with great interest about what changes will be made in TSN's holding of TSI in the near future.
Anyway, just thought I'd share my views and thanks to all for your great research.
