Hi Showie,
This is from the TSN website - "TSN aims to grow its business by pursuing opportunities in financial and technology space, where we can create value by leveraging on our client base, business network and market knowledge.
Our approach is to invest and collaborate with promising businesses who have commercialised solutions in the digital, cybersecurity, analytics and risk/compliance segments, to jointly create value in the opportunities that we target.
We aim to introduce these solutions to our existing clients in India as well as explore further growth areas in other emerging markets in Asia."
I like what TSN are doing. They're identifying companies they can partner with and using their Indian contacts - TSI - to close these deals. I gather that all TSN are doing is identifying companies with a great product and introducing them to the Indian market. There'd be a value adding component to the deal. Tony was talking about Corporate Venturing a while back and now we're starting to see that happen. This has amazing potential.
