    I was actually very surprised how few rigs there are world wide. Most new advanced rigs are in the US of course with only literally a handful of contractors with rigs in the Australian/SE Asian market.

    This shortage was highlighted when I looked up the past jobs for the rig CTP wants to hire for Surprise and found that it had recently been shipped O/S for a drilling contract.

    Mabyee with the recent flood of US and Canadian Co's setting up for unconventional drilling in the Aussie shales there will be an increase in the number and quality of rigs and crews available in Australia. Which can only be beneficial for CTP's longer term plans.

    As far as a short delay to reenter Surprise.....I dont really care so long as we now have the right rig, a decent crew and CTP comes up with the goods.....OIL and lots of it.
