Not just drilling that costs money, all the admin that is required to undergo a drilling campaign in Australia. Also, I would doubt that the drillers were payed all by shares.
Q1's qtrly will be telling as it will show the cost differences in a campaign in Aus and the US.
It's a huge price to pay to keep dr11, but if we are able to get things going in the US, I'm sure the shale deposits in area will be well worth in the long term.
Just take a look at what NWE is achieving.
