He most certainly does IMO. There would be easier ways to do some "hail mary" thing without losing so much if he wanted that as a backup option to sell the fact MKR barely made any money this year if gold/silver prices remain in the dumps.

The market action after the deal is done is going to tell us more about what is likely to happen to MKR. I can see scenarios where people are excited that the price is back to 30c or 40c, and maybe some here have double or tripled their investment if buying now at 14c... but long holders may be more disappointed about what it could mean.

Anyway all we can do is wait and see how it plays out in the next 6 weeks.
