Ramp up activity at Mighty Mt Carbine #tungsten is focusing on mining the Andy White open pit. Check out the size of the #Hitachi X1900 being assembled by our great friends at Golding for increasing productivity in mining our #Wolframite-hosting veins in the Andy White. This releases the existing excavator for other duties and allows our team to increase trucking from the pit and filling the remaining spare capacity in the gravity circuit of the Mt Carbine treatment plant. The mantra of our people and our friends at Goldings is “continuous improvement” on site during ramp up, with the upgraded excavating monster – tentatively named Big Scottie – making another huge stride in the ramp up schedule. Big Scottie is expected to start commissioning in the next week.
