While it will probably be sold at a very good price while the price of gold is high, in my opinion, this is an exceptional project and management might decide to build and run it instead of selling and moving to another project. If they feel this way, they will have already organised for enough shares for a blocking stake to prevent a takeover.
It will be good to check WAF announcements to see their resource sizes and production volumes to see if the new appointment is strategic from a due diligence then takeover perspective. I know this is a stretch too far but...
