DEG did offer to sell Wingina gold rights at one stage, I think to Rugby, or perhaps the partner before that (Southern Cross?), for $4.5 mill, as part of an earlier JV agreement. Different days, different development costs, different gold price. Its probably worth a fair bit more than that now if they develop it themselves, but unless our Pattersons board member is more astute at the transition to mining than the rest of the crew, most of that value will be lost due to incompetent development decisions by inexperienced board, management and staff. They need help from folks that are great with transition in this space, like the St Barbara crew. Else just sell it to them at a reasonable price and move onto exploration of the VMS and lithium deposits with the sale cash....
