Totally agree @Day424, The IDX is closed and will be also tomorrow as it is the "big holiday".
I wasn't referring to an announcement on the IDX by the way, you are right it is not a big enough deal for Indosat to announce it on their stock exchange. However, they could have posted something on their Facebook page or Twitter feed. They mentioned on Facebook that people can use IM3 Oreedoo and access KlixTV.com to watch the World Cup. Up to a few hours ago Facebook and Twitter were still promoting Unlimited YouTube. Not a mention of iStream.
They don't have to come out with a massive announcement, just a couple of lines in a post, even just "Working with TV2U to bring you iStream soon." or something to that effect.
We always encouraged our suppliers, even the small ones, by inserting a comment in their own announcement, declared something to the press, or at least a mention on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter (ours and/or theirs). It helps the suppliers, especially if they are starting up, and they were always grateful we did. Sometimes it was also a way of announcing our intentions while preparing our products for launch. We basically created expectations in the market.
Holidays or not, Indosat is not doing themselves a favour. Are they expecting people to just 'discover' or 'fall upon' iStream? There may be other reasons we can only speculate about, but that won't take us far.
