Basically, you are absolutely right, the original contract is for three years but can be extended at any time. I am 100% sure that Grant will lead us far beyond these three years, we are only just at the beginning of the successful future that he has fought so hard for over the last two years. He is not going to leave the fruits of his labour to others now... now things are really getting started...
it is beyond my imagination to believe that Grant will take up another job, Tivan is his baby, he will raise it with the help of his strong team.
at the beginning I thought that Grant would go into politics later, but I think that he has realised that as CEO he can achieve much more for the NT and Australia than if he were to go into politics now...
