Advertising puffery involves exaggerated, boastful, subjective claims that are used to entice customers into making purchases.
Puffing is a term in commercial law which means to convey an overstated belief about some good or service to a prospective buyer with the goal of making a sale of that good or service.
Nothing about frauds or people doing nothing. Whenever a tweet/interview/etc is put out promising "lots of announcemnts" etc etc, it sounds a bit desperate.
High quality companies don't need this sort of tactic. Again, let the results speak for themselves.
