Geez I'd got use to the refinery at the mine site.
So is this move because the mine site was never a goer for the refinery or have CLC and landowners, if they are able, definitely said no?
GW says Middle Arm will be cheaper, but won't we still have to build all the roading and railing infrastructure etc for the mine anyway so that cost won't be going away, plus bulk ore will need to be transported to Darwin now instead of the refined product and the waste transported back to the mine site, unless they have other plans? plus it has been previously said having to build to cyclone strength and the duplication of some infrastructure with the two different sites adds to the cost.

One big plus is a bigger potential workforce close at hand, but we have to get the refinery built first, and we'll still need fly in fly outs for the mine!
