Hmm. Not sure what this implies about the Board’s assessment of the viability of Mt Peake. Interesting that they’re pushing forward with Middle Arm, I would’ve thought that transport to there would be costly from Speewah.
I might be a cynic, but $20M seems an expensive price tag for this project! I’m not quite as thrilled as everyone else seems to be about this particular acquisition because of that. Yes it’s a huge deposit, but size after a certain point is a non-issue (e.g. Mt Peake already had a mine life of 37+ years). The grade is pretty poor. Will the better extraction characteristics be enough to justify the premium price tag?
