I don’t think they don’t want to. The markets in the country you mentioned are just too small. Austrade has been trying to diversify away from China for years and that’s literally what they do everyday. It’s just impossible to replace a market the size of China.
TBH this is really all Scotty from marketing’s fault and people think liberal is good for businesses. We could use a more intelligent, tactiful prime minister. China’s reaction can be anticipated. If you run a business, how would you treat your biggest customer.
