That's one possibility but a larger one looms for China - overpopulation and food security.
China has experienced the most devastating floods for decades if not a century, most of their crops have been decimated. You won't hear this on mainstream media. China will become heavily dependent on imports so they are getting ahead of the game by undermining our exporters into China to get a much cheaper price via tariffs.
They (China) knows once they need more food prices will explode and they are in effect capping the markets now. China is in the midst of a food crisis coming into the northern winter, their crops have failed and are under water for the most part.
We wait until they come begging!
