I'm not trying to be dismissive @kmrrr ,but value of the company now is not related to what people paid for their shares historically - people paid over $4 for the share based on their view of market conditions and the company's growth prospects, and those have both changed materially.

As an investor it's hard to cut our own attachment to our entry prices, but that is irrelevant in terms of the valuation of the company at the moment .....the way a potential $2 offer should be viewed is that it represents a 33% improvement on what the market sees Tyro's value currently (note that I'm not sure where that number comes from as the ASX announcement does not state any value that the board will accept)

Again, not trying to be dismissive or flippant (not easy to loose money), but the entry price is our own anchor, and IMO better to approach this by trying to gauge what the value of the company is currently and whether it will deliver the best returns for you over your investment timeline or better to take the money and deploy elsewhere (you don't need to make the money back in the same place you originally invested)
