I disagree with your thinking jdon. These things are based on the price they get valued at. The control premium paid on top is all part of the value metrics determined on the business itself, and not on the wealth or size of any acquirer. No one overpays because they might have size, and smaller sized companies can still make a bid based on getting in borrowed money to do so. Agree with you on C-B flagging he's for sale to keep alive the thought that he will talk even when the BOD won't. I'm not in yet. GLAH.
