Clever move by Cannon-Brookes to accept the offer. By doing so has indicated to the market and any other potential buyers that he is willing to sell.
He would have been certain that the board would reject an offer of $1.27. It is unlikely the board will except any offer under $2, and with buyers as big and wealthy as CBUS and IOOF (now called Insignia Financial), a $3 or greater offer isn't outside the realms of reality.
