Republicans of course traditionally spend less, and so they may have a problem with signing off as much budget as the Dems, however, Veterans are traditionally Republican voters so it's unlikely they would make any massive changes and piss off the Vets.

What is dependent on the VA roll-out is:

- Access to the tech across hardware and the VA network through the Philips deal

- Demonstrating that the tech meets the VA's needs through trials, reports, studies, etc.

- Getting doctors onboard to see it as important and choose to use it,

- Funding to pay for it all. Funding must go through the appropriations committee and Congress so it takes a LONG time to get anything happening. As has been mentioned before there is a bill in Congress right now mentioning FDA-approved non-invasive lung screening technologies. Congress reopens on Monday after their August holiday.

...On this point was anyone on the PME AR investor call the other week? PME is also dealing with the DoD and the VA for their imaging service. They are already a customer and the rumours are they are trying to grow their offering within the two organisations. Check out the PME thread for rumours on that.

Dr Hupert talked about the very long decision times with these organisations, and he also talked about how the Financial Year of the VA and DoD goes from 1st October to 30th September. He said most decisions are made in September or October as this is when budget appropriations are decided. I have no idea if this would be the same for 4DX (DYOR), however he talked about their experience, as an existing customer, with these same organisations.

Ive said it s thousand times, ill say it again. If our tech is that good then why isnt it in use in multiple other sectors NOW. Its been years and all the talk is still VA. All eggs in one basket....virtually nothing to show from all other screening partners.
Im a very frustrated LONG term holder but loosing beleif now due to the above.
