Another layman here, but I have seen a few TOs in my time. Strikes me that UAC has lots of out here in the conditions if they wish, and IFN can trigger any number of events which void UAC's offer. That is how I read it anyway. Seems to be more such conditions than usual. Maybe UAC just see this as an easy way of getting control of a significant number of shares in IFN? Nothing illegal in that. Maybe they dont want full control, or 100% And TAKE NO ACTION is standard wording while the takeover company makes its deliberations.
I'd rather the price were still sitting at 60c with long term potential, rather than a forced sale at 80c, $1.00 whatever.
