LMI GWP slated to decrease by circa 30%. I need to read the whole thing in detail, I just skimmed, but that jumped out at me. In fact, I went searching for it after I saw the SP drop. new APRA capital adequacy requirements are putting pressure on banks margins, and lending requirements are being tightened. LMI allowed people to gear at high LVR's thanks to QBE and Genworth. Now that LVR are being tightened up, that sector of QBE's business will take a hit.
