re: Ann: UCL: UCL largest shareholder rejects... This is a major blow to MAK's chance of success with the bid. MAK should have gained their support before launching the bid. In my opinion, acknowledging I am a UCL holder, MAK should either drop it immediately to save both sides more costs or sit down with Kahlbetzer and thrash out a a deal. The gossip is the latter would be tough due to friction that occurred at the time MAK took over BON and some problems with MAK going slow on Sandpiper after, note the word gossip.
