Does the board fully understand that if they fail to bring NMDC into the tent with all the crap going on in the broader market, the SP will drop like a stone and permanent damage will be sustained to any sense of credibility ...
All this announcement says to me is that they aren't 100% confident they will get NMDC over the line with Wonarah. There needs to be a perception of a plan B. Why else wouldn't you focus 100% of your precious resources on 'value adding' Wonarah? Particularly when NMDC have flagged there could be remuneration for costs on Wonarah to date. I'm not sure why they need to undermine confidence with buy bots on as well?
