Maybe they just don't want MAK to merge with BON and they had to make a decent enough bid that will at least make the process a lot messier for MAK. But is UCL really in a position to follow through ?
and we should remember the recent case of RIO - I'm sure despite many RIO shareholders scorning the BHP bid - most would wish it had eventuated.
These are just for questions for BON holders to make judgements.
As a MAK holder, I just hope the process is decided quickly (either way)
