As we in the UK sit on vast amounts of untapped indigenous hydrocarbons, the UK is just one catastrophic geopolitical incident away from the point whereby oil goes above £500/barrel, natural gas goes above £1000/MWH and coal goes above £500/ton. Putin, Covid, ESG policies, the costs for renewable greenwashing and a lack of foresight in relation to energy security by the likes of you and our political class have given us a small taste of what can happen when the blind lead the blind in relation to energy and energy security.

As they say, 'insanity is doing the same thing over and over again. In relation to energy and energy security, our political class are acting insanely. That has got to change.
