New here.
I am an aged Brit and to my regret have never been to Australia but I have a great admiration for the manner in which Australians seem able to open up mines and oil wells everywhere.
I have been lucky with AJL, having bought recently at about 10c and sold at about 18c. The balance sheet unnerved me and I sold my last shares on the 23rd.
We in GB should most definitely encourage Cuadrilla to restart its exploratory drilling in Lancashire and I believe that the locals could be brought onside by the offer of a royalty on gas extracted or a big discount on their bills coupled with an indemnity against the cost of any damage caused by tremors.
Unfortunately our government is a sorry state and might find it difficult to enforce a policy opposed by pressure groups with loud voices.
I am minded to dip my toe in here again.
How is AJL's Australian business doing ?
